As a baseball fan, it is a pleasure to watch Halladay work
Not so much as one of the teams he is pitching against. I am not a Phillies fan nor will I ever be one, but watching this guy pitch is like watching an artist at work. I believe he would have been just as good in an earlier era, such as when Koufax and Gibson were dominating baseball. He is that good.
Even when he's completely dominating my Nats, I can't help but admire him. That no hitter he threw against the Reds in the playoffs last year, is right up there with the best pitching performance I've ever seen.
