NHL Thrashers Said to Be Sold, Will Be Moved to Winnipeg From Atlanta

The Atlanta Thrashers will move to Canada after being sold to Winnipeg, Manitoba-based True North Sports & Entertainment Ltd., according to a team official who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Rob Koch, a spokesman for the Thrashers, and Scott Brown, a spokesman for True North, declined to comment. The official would not be named because an announcement is scheduled to be made at a news conference today.
