1. So Al Gore is elected the 43rd president of the U.S. in 2000. Following 9/11, he pursues a path of diplomacy and does not invade Afghanistan. Meanwhile, back in the world of sports ...

2. Cardinals safety Pat Tillman has no reason to join the Army. Instead ...

3. He intercepts Ben Roethlisberger's last-minute pass to Santonio Holmes, and the Cards win Super Bowl XLIII, 23-20. And back on the diamond ...

4. Bush enjoys a successful tenure -- until 2005, when Congress cracks down on steroids in baseball.

What if Elways stayed with Baltimore in 1983?

Bledsoe didn't get hurt?

Falcons didn't trade Brett Favre?

3. Uhmmm. Bud Selig would have been elected president. Both the US and MLB
would still have been fucked.

NOTHING WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT.

6. About #3
Edited on Fri Feb-25-11 10:23 AM by JonLP24
He played the same position as Adrian Wilson and Wilson was just a rookie the year before Tillman enlisted. He was a good player(Search Hulu for the Nebraska-Arizona State game to see one of his best performances), leading the team in tackles(though it should be linebackers), but Adrian Wilson is one of the best players in franchise history. Who knows if Adrian Wilson would of saw playing time but he is a terrific player and would of shined anywhere if not here.

7. If the Falcons didn't trade Favor...the packers might have signed some non-diva
quarterback who didn't choke and they might have a few more rings.

8. Change #1 - After 9-11...because Gore is president, the completely preventable 9-11
doesn't happen.
