Screw Arsenal
The only way they beat Barcelona was by 1) utterly abandoning their 16 passes in the box philosophy and 2) Messi's header being wrongly waived for offside. He was never anywhere near offside.

RvP had a nice goal, but everyone in the world expected him to pass, so no blame attaches to Victor Valdez for thinking the same. Arshavin was absurdly lucky not to send his shot into Row Z. Even so, it should have been a 2-2 draw.

Someone should tell the London press to shut their holes.

1. Screw that..
the Gunners completely outplayed Barca in the second half. A well earned win. It's just too bad there's a second leg.

And Arshavin's goal was a beauty. Did you see the way he used the two defenders as a screen as he curled the ball around them?

2. That was a stupid mistake by the defenders
They know they're never supposed to do that. It wouldn't have happened if Capitan Carles was in.

I think Arsenal played out of their minds yesterday. Nevertheless, Barca takes a one away goal lead into Camp Nou for the final leg.
