Steelers not convinced that Cowboys are 'America's Team'
Who is America’s Team? It’s not enough that the Steelers are playing in Super Bowl XLV at Cowboys Stadium. They say they are entitled to the Cowboys’ nickname as well.

“We have more Super Bowls than anyone,” defensive end Brett Keisel said. “If you’re going off of championships, maybe we are America’s Team. We consider ourselves America’s Team.”

The Steelers have played in seven Super Bowls, winning a record six times. They beat the Cowboys in Super Bowls X and XIII. The Cowboys have eight Super Bowl appearances and five victories. They beat Pittsburgh in Super Bowl XXX.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said the tag of “America’s Team” should go to the team with the best fan base.

8. His name is Roethlisraper.
And the best fan base is likely to be the Packers, all things considered, including the fact that recent success brings in the toadies.

2. The Cowboys were "America's Team" eons ago
If the Steelers want their own moniker they should get off their collective asses and create something original.

7. And yet, they've always been despised by most Americans.
Odd.
