Here's a great piece for all you dumb ass Jay Cutler Critics.
Those who criticized Cutler for lacking guts and not returning to the game are possibly the biggest douchebags evah!

1. The thing that I had not known, until Monday morning, was that
he is a diabetic. To me, that explains a lot of what the media has been calling "poor body language" all week. Colin Cowherd (who I cannot stand) said something I can agree with. If Cutler had been happy on the sidelines, laughing and joking...smiling even...people would have been pissed. His situation is always going to be a losing situation. And I hate the Bears.

2. Can anyone explain this to me?
Edited on Thu Jan-27-11 01:48 PM by hughee99
I've seen numerous reports of Cutler's knee injury as a "sprain" or "severe sprain" (including one where Lovie Smith outright says it was a sprain), but it seems like every defense I've seen of Cutler refers to it as "torn" or "partially torn". I was under the impression that it was initially suspected to be an torn MCL and "downgraded" to a sprain after further examination.

In the end, Jay Cutler, even playing at 100% wasn't going to get the Bears to the SB, so this is all just deck chairs on the Titanic.

5. A ligament sprain and a tear are basically the same thing
Grade I sprain involves microscopic tears of the ligament
Grade II sprain is a partially torn ligament
Grade III sprain is a completely torn ligament

Cutler suffered a grade II sprain of the MCL.
