1. It sounds like Taylor has "utilized" this service on more than a few occasions.

He probably was able to turn over names, numbers, and other information.

All that leagal-ese means that he gave up some names and had some good ($$) lawyers to talk to the public lawyers who respected that the profession was getting some money out of him. Basically he has already paid a price.
