What happened to Les Miles? Michigan is no longer the place to be....can't attract high profile coaches to a program that's down and a state that's in financial distress.

I mean, after all, why hire a Michigan guy who has been to the top of the mountain?? In favor of a feller who just won a home Bowl game against Navy. No. Brandon was just delivering a pizza last night to Les. Face it. You're stuck with the #3 choice after being embarrassed by the top choices. Miles wanted nothing to do with the job in turning this program around. Who can blame him?

I'm not entirely sure I agree with the writer, but this is the speculation.

But, speaking personally, I would rather see Brady Hoke than Les Miles. Something about Miles has always seemed slick to me.

9. Miles has some pretty negative history to overcome at Michigan

He slept with Gary Moeller's wife, among other things. I suspect there was some internal opposition.

10. I saw on the ESPN ticker that Bill McCarney pleaded with Miles to take the Michigan job.

"Extremely disappointed" that he didn't. Found this interesting.
