A few pictures from one of last weekend's most important college games (dialup warning)
I had the good fortune to attend the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks vs. Southeastern Louisiana Lions in Nacogdoches, Texas last Saturday. The Southland Conference leading Lumberjacks won in a cliffhanger, 51 - 14.



Lions QB Brian Young narrowly avoids a sack on a 3rd and long situation (they made it)




Lumberjacks RB Jeremy Barnes finds a hole as QB Jeremy Moses looks on




Lumberjacks QB Jeremy Moses completes a third quarter pass (which is good, as they have no running game to speak of)


We were also treated to a great halftime show by the Lumberjack Band ("The boldest sound from the oldest town").

Not bad for a $10 ticket.

I'd rather be lucky than good. I'm going to miss that place when my daughter graduates next year.
