1. They need to figure out that point guard spot.

3. I thought only bettors cared about NBA in November
Or any point before May.

Bully team. I posted that here recently, and elsewhere a few months ago. It's not like they signed Shaq and Maurice Lucas in their prime. You're always less than you seem if it's not based on muscle.

The vulnerabilities won't last, not to this extent. There will be comical stretches of silence on this forum.

5. Exactly---
Only Cowboy fans will quack about B-Ball in November because they certainly have nothing better to talk about when it comes to sports.

Any knowledgeable basketball homer predicted that the Heat would get out of the gate a bit slow---but with that talent will soon figure it out.

6. I agree

Doc Rivers himself said the Celtics were in the same boat when they landed their big three and they lacked a true point guard at the time. Players getting used to each other's playing style and that kind of thing.

All I can say is I hope their struggles last another week because the Phoenix Suns face them next Wednesday in Miami. After that, I hope they defeat every Western Conference team except when they face the Suns in Phoenix. ;)

7. They will most likely struggle a bit in the coming weeks...
but come on---those who say they will fail in the long run are just fucking idiots.

The talent is simply to much for that to happen.

8. There is a resemblance to the 76er's in '76
Edited on Fri Nov-12-10 10:52 AM by wilt the stilt
I watched last night and I saw an awful lot of dribbling by Mr.Lebron James. The struggle is how they are going to work out a cohesive offense when all of the "big three" need to dribble to be effective. The '76ers got good when McGinnis left, Jones replaced him and played like a role player, Mo cheeks played a great point and Moses Malone owned the inside.
The Heat's passing was not crisp.

9. Dude! It's just funny to rub a little salt into your wounds early this year after you
spent all summer telling us this was the greatest team ever assembled!

Lighten up, Francis!
