Seattle Mariners right fielder Ichiro Suzuki won his 10th straight Gold Glove Award on Tuesday, headlining an American League team with several repeat winners.

With his 10th Gold Glove, Ichiro ties the AL outfield record shared by Ken Griffey Jr. and Hall of Famer Al Kaline. Los Angeles Angels outfielder Torii Hunter had won nine straight Gold Gloves but was not honored this season.

Roberto Clemente holds the all-time outfield Gold Glove record with 12 National League awards.

The Yankees' Derek Jeter won his fifth Gold Glove at shortstop while teammate Mark Teixeira was rewarded with his second straight first base award and fourth overall.

Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer won his third straight award. Pitcher Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox and Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria both won their second straight Gold Gloves.

First-time winners include Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano, Rays left fielder Carl Crawford and Mariners left fielder Franklin Gutierrez.

3. I think he was too busy selling his book today to be worrying about fielding awards.

4. I'm sure Jeter's agent will bring this up at the table.
Despite his very limited range, Jeter does make the plays he's supposed to make and makes what would be an above average play for other shortstops into a sportscenter highlight.

I'm sure the discussion of his completely undeserved Hank Aaron award last year will also come up.
