5. I don't know...
if they had won in 3 or 4 I'd think they had a chance...the meltdown at home doesn't bode well.

4. You see, the inexperience is really working against them...they so totally
dominated the Rays in Tampa one would think the series was over...they probably thought so, too.

So does Vlad. I think there are others but I'm not sure. Tampa has experience too I think. Go Rangem' Rangers!

8. Yeah, after the first two games
Edited on Tue Oct-12-10 07:29 PM by Upton
I thought they might be a different kind of Rangers team. Now, after the last two, I'm not so sure. No way you can trust them to beat NY. The Rays know how to play and beat the Yankees being in the same division.

18. Yeah, that's the guy who made Texas taxpayers pay for a stadium with no roof.
That ludicrous decision should have been enough to scare Texas and the whole of America away.

16. I've lived in DFW since I was 5
We moved to Arlington when I was 5 (I did live elsewhere when I was 19-22ish). I live only probably a mile and a half from the Ballpark.

I'm still shocked they made it out of round 1.

17. Congrats!
I'm a Brewers fan, so I know a little bit about suffering year after year, but you deserve a chance at the Series!

25. YOUR'E shocked?
I was there when they first arrived in 1972. I used to go to a lot of games at the remamed Turnpike Stadium in the mid 70's when I was going to UTA. I never thought they had any chance of doing anything and I hated their last owner with a passion, Times DO change for the better sometimes!

21. Now we're stuck with the Rangers
as our last hope to keep the Yankees out of the World Series. Sure, they've got Cliff Lee, but he can't pitch 4 games. I mean, without looking, can anybody name another starting pitcher for the Rangers? I'd rate the Rangers chances of beating the Yankees as slim and none. Thanks a lot Rays.
