1. Not really uncommon

for teams to schedule 3 softies and 1 quality opponent for non-conference games. They scheduled Miami this year and USC in past years. They're far from the teams known to take risks in scheduling that is for sure. Florida is the worst. Aside from their annual FSU match-up they schedule weak opponents and almost always it is a home game for Florida. And I'm far from a Florida hater.

On edit-I actually give them some credit--none of those are FBS opponents.

this is the Buckeyes fourth game and they have yet to play on the road. In fact, they play only four games (out of twelve) on the road all year.
