Ines Sainz, Azteca Reporter, Harassed By Jets? NFL Investigating
NEW YORK — The NFL is looking into how a female television reporter was treated at New York Jets practice Saturday.

Ines Sainz, a reporter for Mexico's TV Azteca doing a story on quarterback Mark Sanchez, had footballs thrown in her direction by a Jets coach during practice, and players later called out to her in the team's locker room.

NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said Sunday that the league and the Jets began looking into the situation when they were made aware of it Saturday night.

And since this thread would be worthless without pictures:

5. Ines Sainz speaks of the episode on Twitter

The English-language sports media is probably unaware of these tweets:

So there it is, in her own words as it was happening in the locker room. Saw that the Jets lost tonight. Maybe their minds were still on those hot pants !!

9. No that was a different reporter.
Ines Gomez Mont made press in January 2008 when she wore a wedding dress to a press conference with New England Patriot's QB Tom Brady and proposed to marry him.

7. What a waste of time and money.
The NFL should investigate her.

Keep her off the field and definitely OUT OF THE LOCKER ROOM.

Jeebus....she is an idiot.

8. as a woman I am very conflicted by these types of situations
on one hand I want to be supportive of her right to dress as she pleases, however on the other hand I really wonder whether she is a qualified sports reporter or just a prop.

I am also old enough to know that we don't live in a perfect world and when a woman dresses like she does and she goes into locker rooms, what does she expect? Good looking women get harrassed walking down the street or going to a bar. Is it right, no but men look and they sometimes vocalize their thoughts. We women do the same thing when we see good looking men, we generally talk amongst our girlfriends about the way a good looking man may look.

10. She's a prop.
If you're gonna dress like that and go into an NFL locker room, you're gonna hear stuff.

She's a ditz.

and she did not report the harassment. It was other reporters who witnessed it.

12. I just don't like her in the locker room
I can understand the argument that if a male reporter is allowed in, a female should be able to as well. Thus, the logical solution is to not allow any reporters in the locker room.

14. OTOH, are male reporters allowed in the locker rooms of female athletes?
I wonder what would happen if some male reporters demanded equal rights to go into the female's locker room at some tennis tournament.

Thank G*d I'm a NY Giants fan.
