Poor Bobby Hurley's Ex-Duke star's horse farm enters
foreclosure. I thought Duke players were supposed to be smart. Maybe Lexington is NOT a good place for a Dukie. " Former Duke University basketball star Bobby Hurley is leaving the horse business after PNC Bank foreclosed on his 140-acre Devil Eleven Farm in Ocala, Fla.
PNC is scheduled to auction the farm, named for Hurley's college jersey number, on Oct. 5 to pay off about $3.3 million debt." Did he make much money in the NBA????? Talk about being over your head!!! Sorry for your luck Duke boy.

1. His first contract with the Kings was a 6 years-$16 million deal

Regardless of his success at Duke, I didn't think he was an NBA quality point guard even before his car accident. I always compare the inexplicable hype of Hurley (a 7th overall pick) to that of Rick Mirer (a second overall pick in the NFL draft). They both played on successful teams in college, but I could never understand why "experts" thought they would be successful at the next level.

2. Hurley-16mil-wow/ He was a very good college player.
I never saw him as a pro though. Not a good fit in the pros.
