NBA Draft Lottery Prediction Tonight
Just a hunch, but I bet the NY Knicks or LA Lakers end up with the first pick. Basketball needs good teams in the New York and Los Angeles markets. Last time the Knicks were this dead as a franchise they ended up winning the lottery and selected Patrick Ewing.

There's no Ewing in this draft, but I wouldn't be shocked to see the Knicks win the lottery and then go on to select Utah center Andrew Bogut with the first pick.

Just a hunch. Its not like the NBA would fix anything like that. (wink, wink)

2. depends on the team drafting him
The Knicks could use just about everything, but a talented 7-footer normally goes ahead of a talented small forward.

5. True
heard a lot of speculation all spring, especially around tournament time of Bogut going number 1....
would not surprise me.
Marvin would be more of a future....probably would not help a whole lot next year, whereas Bogut could possibly start

3. slots 4-14 are determined
The top 3 picks will be between Atlanta, Portland and Milwaukee. Both the Bucks and the Blazers got lucky to move up.

We'll find out shortly who wins.

4. MILWAUKEE wins draft lottery
wow, they had the 6th best shot at it, too.

First #1 overall pick since they made Glen Robinson the first overall pick a decade ago (over Jason Kidd, btw).
