Piazza likens Rush Limbaugh to "Royalty"
from
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/story/312539p-267398c.html

Mike Piazza became an autograph-seeker when he spotted conservative talkie Rush Limbaugh in the stands near the Braves' dugout. "It was like meeting American royalty," said Piazza, a devout Republican.

Excuse me while I barf.

(Yes, I knew Mike's political leanings, but still.)

2. I saw this past Saturday that Monday was
"Rush's Right-Wing Special" 2 for 1 ticket night.

I was at the IBEW building across the highway from the stadium at a Democratic Party State Committee Meeting and I thought I was going to hurl when I saw that.

The Braves have just assured themselves that I will never watch them again (not like I do now, but now it's official).

Asshats!

6. Say it isn't so Ruby! I love the Braves.
I can't believe they would have a "Rush's Right-Wing Special" 2 for 1 ticket night.

7. 'Tis True
I was wearing these cute little high heeled flip flops and I nearly fell off the sidewalk trying to get closer to make sure I saw it correctly.

The Braves are dead to me.

17. Rush is on AM 640, which is part of the Braves radio network
so that's not all that ridiculous; one hand is going to wash another.

8. Well, no, he's not an idiot.
Sure, stupid is as stupid does, but...he's carried his team more times than I can count; he's a first-ballot Hall of Famer, and a pretty articulate fellow when interviewed.

I even cut him a pass when he held his infamous "I'm not gay" press conference, much as I wanted him to tell the press that his personal life was his own business and they could think what they wanted.

And yeah, like plenty of his teammates, he's a conservative Republican. OK, whatever. But calling Rush "Royalty?" Now he's just being a tool.

You know, fat, letcherous, somewhat delusional. Generally, a real prick. And he does seem to be mowing through wives with staggering regulatirty. Hell, Daryn Kagan had better buy herself a titanium neck kerchief!

10. He couldn't throw out my grandmother
if she waited until the ball hit his mitt.
He did even crappier playing First Base.
And he's only batting .250.

16. Baseball,football,basketball and Hockey players
love the tax cuts they recieve from the repug party. Its very sad when those misguided, greedy players side with the very people that don't give a royal damn about them.In the last selection process, one of my former heroes Ernie Banks supported shrub,ARod,and many other overpaid clowns gave $$$$$ to the shrub reselection pot.I say screw them all.

18. That's a shame. Piazza is a huge Metal fan.
How does he reconcile being an extreme Metal fan and a Puke? They are in such opposition.

20. Piazza's Godfather Tommy LaSorda is a major Republican Freak
and fundraiser. I loathe Tommy LaSorda more than anyone in professional sports. The man is pure crap.

At a Sons Of Italy National Foundation Dinner in Washington, D.C., LaSorda was asked to speak right before Bill Clinton took the podium. Here's how the creep LaSorda preceeded Bill Clinton's speech, getting in a personal dig:

"My father was a Republican, and his father was a Republican," Lasorda said. "So someone once asked me, 'If your father was a thief, and his father was a thief, would that make you a thief?' I said, 'That would make me a Democrat.'"

FU you POS Tommy LaSorda.
