KFC wants your vuvuzela
LOUSIVILLE, Ky. - In an attempt to get the little buzzers off the streets, Kentucky Fried Chicken is offering soccer fans who still have their vuvuzelas post-World Cup a free sandwich for shipping their plastic horn to KFC headquarters.
"KFC's new Vuvuzela Exchange Program offers heartbroken soccer fans a free taste of the Colonel's famous comfort food in exchange for their recently silenced plastic horns," KFC President Roger Eaton said in a news release.
According to their website, the first 500 people to send their horns in by July 15 will receive a $5.00 KFC gift check good for one of their new Doublicious sandwiches.
