but will be entirely pleased with a Dutch win as well. Both nations have been deserving for a long time.

I've said that Dutch were going to be the side that won before the tournament started. Big win streak, players working well in the system, good atmosphere and chemistry.

I think Spain-Holland is one of the sexiest possible finals, two teams who try and dominate possession and play to get and protect the lead. I'm standing by my prediction.

This is going to look much like the Germany match. Barca, er, Spain will control 55-60% of the possession...allowing them to dictate tempo and keep Dutch chances to a minimum. All the while, playing in that patient probing style of theirs as they look for that one big breakthrough which inevitably always seems to come.

I'm going to be rooting for the Netherlands with everything I have. It would be so great to see them finally win one. I just don't see it..

I've really enjoyed the World Cup, though. The level of play seems much more intense than the games I've looked in on here in the US.

14. From my POV, Spain plays well as a team, sets up plays - while Netherlands seem to to be individuals

All talented, but Spain looks to control the play save for a Netherlands break-out, which may work. :shrug:
