Germany-England
A lot has been said already about this game. It's a traditional rivalry for both teams. The Germans are younger and possibly more talented. The English haven't been overly impressive, party because they haven't met their potential.

2. Shoddy English defense.
Klose will take advantage of that every time.

And it was pretty clearly in. Sucks for them.

6. Over a foot over the line!
That gives us a "we woz robbed" out, I suppose. The BBC commentators are right - goal-line cameras are needed.

7. It'll be "The Great English Robbery" in Brit lore.
That ball was in by two yards. How do you miss that??

8. I've seen it happen before.
an MU/Spurs match comes to mind. I'm rooting for Germany, but I hate to see that happen..They need goal line technology.

9. It's mostly the assistants call and they said he was looking elsewhere.
But I think it was far enough in for the ref to make a call. Unfortunately it moves VERY VERY fast.

13. Remember 1966
against said Germans. Who won their only World Cup as a result of that one?

That is all

12. Now the English and US can commiserate about the officiating. Unless they turn it around.

22. WE WON!!!
:woohoo::bounce::bounce::bounce::woohoo:

I refused to make a tip as I wanted to put NO PRESSURE on da boyz except that they pull out a WIN! Having no TV, I joined the "living room" at my corner pub, sat in a comfortable movie theater chair at the perfect distance from the screen with the PERFECT mix of a dozen or so neighbors.

Sie haben das geschaft! :woohoo::bounce::bounce::bounce::woohoo:

What does it matter? Why are Amis so disinterested? As with the "language" thang, ya'll don't even KNOW what you're missing...

Damn it's LOUD outside!!!

19. England is done. And it's probably the end of the road for the golden boys.
Germany played great. If Argentina beats Mexico, Argentina-Germany will be outstanding.
