4. Oh well, there's always next year...
one of the good parts about being a Boston fan is that, for the most part, the teams will be in contention on a regular basis rather than going through decades-long droughts where they are irrelevant. For example, the Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots have all won championships since the last time the Badgers won the big 10 in football, made the final 4 in basketball, or the Packers, Bucks or Brewers even went to a championship game. (By the way, congrats on the 2006 Hockey national championship, you were just 6 goals away from winning another one this year :)).

Yes, the down side of this is that occasionally you get your heart broken against the Giants, Yankees or Lakers, but at least you can be somewhat sure that halfway through baseball season, you're not asking when training camp starts, and then in December, asking when pitchers and catchers report.

I feel much better now that I got that out of my system. Thanks. :thumbsup:
