wish I had come up with this-pretty creative
1. The University of Texas will now be referred to as THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS.
2. The Texas Ten will feature THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS and nine other branch members*.
3. As a special privilege, branch university home game against THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS will be played in Austin. This will give all fans of the Texas Ten an opportunity to experience THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS on a yearly basis!
4. The lone exception will be the celebrated Red River Rivalry, which will remain in Dallas. As a concession to UT-Norman, THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS will now handle all ticket sales to the RRR. Naturally seating priority will be assigned according to donation levels to THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS. Per request, UT-Norman fans will be allowed seating in the end zones, because UT-Norman "likes it better in the end zone."
5. Distributions from the new, conference-saving TV contract will be based equally on number of televised appearances.
6. All games of THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS will be nationally televised at whatever time is convenient for THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS.
7. All members of the Texas Ten have been strongly encouraged by THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS to sign a loyalty clause to the Texas Ten.
8. Members who decide to leave the Texas Ten will be required to pay a penalty fee comprised of all future revenues to THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS.
9. Due to recent indiscretions by the UT-Farm, THE UNIVERSE OF TEXAS will now require oversight and approval for all decision making at the Farm.
10. Because BEVO sometimes requires special attention, UT-Farm will volunteer their services to meet those needs, as often as required.
