Obviously there are the calls on the bases. (safe or out only).

Balls and strikes - absolutely not.
balks - no.

Discuss.

1. You read my mind
Agree with yours. How about...

• Interference by fans and players

• Fair and foul balls

I suggest leaving it to the discretion of the crew chief for that particular game too. Players and coaches could not lobby for a review.

2. Those are two additional good ones, Auggie.
Definitely fair/foul balls.

Interference might be a little more harder to define.

What about hit batsman?

3. I like keeping hit batsmen in the arena of balls and strikes
Same with foul tips. The home plate umpire is right there -- standing static -- he would be in the best position to make that call, don't ya think?

6. Works For Me
I'm almost leaning toward having Safe/Out at the bases be force out plays only. I think sometimes it would be hard to tell on tag calls. Maybe not. But, force out plays would be obvious on video.

5. Catch or trap.

Another fairly common missed call, especially in the outfield so the umps aren't always in a good position to make the call.
