Most underrated Center in the NBA
Pao Gasol- executes the low post about as well as anyone today. Has excellent moves and a very good passer. He also has a decent 15 foot shot. He also speaks english very well for a Spainard. The unsung hero of the Lakers.

1. Ah, but Pau Gasol is widely acknowledged as very good.
He is being paid more than $16 million a year. He's worth it.

I like Chicago's young center, Joakim Noah. He hasn't been able to play a full season, and he'll never be a Dwight Howard or a Pau Gasol. But he brings a LOT of intensity and I'd argue is among the top fifteen centers in the game.

This year he made about $2.4 million. He figures to get a raise before long, though.

2. Yes, Gasol is good. Noah needs to score more. I'm still impressed by Yao. nt

4. Offense is a weird thing
If you ever played a lot of basketball offense is a mindset. The great scorers just say they are going to score and offense is very tiring. I used to play a game I called one on one on one. You play a one on one game for one point. The one who scores stays in and the one who loses switches with the other player. You score about 3-4 points and you are worn out.

I recently read that this was the game Paul Pierce played growing up. He called it something different. Everyone I ever introduced this game to loved it. It really made you work on your moves.

People like Bird, Jordan, Mchale, Jabbar, Bryant, James, Dirk and Wade were and are just great scorers and put great pressure on defenses.

People like Howard, Noah and many others just don't have it. It's like in your DNA. Howard may change but I don't think so.

5. I'll always choose someone who can play with their back to the basket
over one who can score more who must face it. It take court sense to play with your back to the basket.

I'll admit I haven't seen Wade play a whole lot, but I hear he's very good.

6. Wade is unbelievable
unbelievably fast and unbelievably coordinated. He would have been an incredible football player and he is built like football player. Thick as a brick.

7. Yes, physically he reminds me of Sir Charles, without the babyfat look. He
can - and does - box out.
