I believe at the end of last year I said that the Washington Nationals were a much improved team and I thought it likely they would be a competitive team at about .500. Currently they are 12-10 and not that far out of the lead in a very competitive NL East. Their hitting is pretty good. The pitching is very much improved and their defense is pretty damn good. I realize its still early on but Stephen Strasburg is looking FANTASTIC in the minors and their best hitter, Ryan Zimmerman has not been particularly healthy so far. In other words, I think they can be better than even .500 as the season goes on. Laughing stock no more. I TOLD YOU SO..NYAH NYAH NYAH!!!
