Where's the 4 point line
My friend's father is an ex high school coach. He answer to the 3 point line is why isn't there a 4 point line and a 5 point line and a 6 point line?

1. Anything behind the line should be 1 point
I've never fathomed how a longer shot should be handed more points. College basketball completely lost me with that change, other than betting the games. I could not care less who wins. I have tapes from the early '80s and it's startling how superior the sport was at that point, 5 players moving aggressively and strategically forward, and crashing the boards instead of 3 checking at all times to make sure their toes are behind an arbitrary line.

2. Cotton Fitzsimmons said the same thing
what really drives me nuts is a fastbreak where they give up the layup for a 3 point shot.
