Emeka Okafor is going to win Rookie of the Year...
...according to a "source." I really don't follow professional basketball, but I have to ask, is there anyone else this year who might have beaten Emeka? Seems like he had a damn good year.

1. I thought the front runner was Ben Gordon/CHI
Fine with me, though. I've got Okafor in a fantasy keeper league.

4. had he started the whole year
Nenad Krstic would have warranted consideration. He averaged 10 and 5 this year for the Nets. He also averaged 18 and 8 in the playoffs against Shaq. Not too shabby. Where was Okafor in the playoffs?

9. He just won--congratulations Emeka!
Ben Gordon was second--514 to 433. Not that close, I guess.

12. Add in Kwame Brown's flameout
where it was "mutually agreed" that he wouldn't play the rest of the playoffs, maybe teams will start giving the benefits of college experience more credit.
