The arrogance of Michigan State is appalling
What's with the "State" on their jerseys?

Are they the only school whose name is xxx state? I don't think so. And why do they wear caps with just "S" on them?

Bet they wouldn't do that shit if Kansas State had made it to the Final Four.

1. I'm gonna have to give them a pass on this one
because at least I don't have to look at Tennessee orange unless I happen to be on the highway that they're cleaning up that day. :P

2. Tradition
They're probably the school most associated with "State" in college athletics, and thats how they've always been. Just saw a picture of Magic cutting down the nets in '79 and his jersey was simply "State" as well.

3. Good thing Indiana State didn't do that in that game
Color blind people wouldn't have been able to tell the two schools apart.

ps: Using "tradition" to justify something doesn't make it right. Once upon a time it was "tradition" to smoke in elevators. Should that practice be perpetuated?

4. Its different in sports
Sports is all about tradition. In Detroit, hockey fans throw octopi on the ice during playoff games. You can say it sounds stupid, but its been done to the point that its a big part of the playoff experience in Detroit. Its the same with throwing Gatorade on a coach, hockey playoff beards and dotting the I in the OSU marching band. Tradition is what makes the game great.

5. So it would be ok to smoke in elevators if athletes did it and called it a tradition?
Whatever.

6. Bad argument
Smoking is kills, wearing a jersey saying "State" doesn't. If smoking wasn't harmful, and didn't reek, then it'd be fine.

Your smack talk is awfully weak.

Can't smack talk because of misspelled words?

I can't tell most of the time if he is being serious or kidding around. Seriously.

This is one of many of those times.
