Oh my!!! 104 to 87. Do the Nets have any answer for the Heat? This is just savage. I couldn't even watch the fourth quarter. It was too horrible. Too cruel. Even weak-kneed oldster Alonzo Mourning went to town. How can you allow that senior citizen 21 points? Terrible, terrible.

I give the Heat MAJOR props for this series. Their defense is as good as any team in the league and Wade is a HUGE stud.

Their eventual series with Detroit will be CLASSIC.

Of course, next season, its going to be all New Jersey as we'll have a healthy Kidd, Carter, Jefferson, a rookie 1st Round draft pick (either Charlie Villaneueva, Chris Taft or Sean May) and Nenad Krstic (the REAL rookie of the year - if you don't count Ben Gordan).

I think we win 60 games and with Shaq one year older and slower and fatter, we take the East.

Wait 'till next year, baby!

But for now, big ups to Miami. You guys are flat-out spanking us.

2. I agree, Nets will rock next year,

But I think it will be because of that new blood you mentioned. Kidd and Carter are great, but the new crop only gets better every year, and the addition of someone like May, coupled with Krstic, will be tough to beat.
