I seem to remember hearing that he dodged the draft for service in Viet Nam, so he'll probably bail on this one too...

2. Seriously, though...
I think the Jets made a very smart first pick with Mike Nugent. I watched a few Jets games last year and was actually cheering them on to make the playoffs (I like the coach). But I couldn't believe how absolutely horrible their kicking game was -- I'd seen better in high school! The Jets could have made the playoffs if they hadn't lost a couple of games from blown field goals, some of them chip shots. I think the addition of Mike Nugent alone will add a couple of games to their "win" column!
