5. The Yanks were in the alcs last year
in the world series in 2003, alds in 02, and world series in 01. They are always in the postseason. They've won 100 games the last four seasons.

6. Well my poor Rangers are kicking their ass tonight
Mental boy Kevin Brown is on the hill and losing badly. I hope any glass objects and all porcelain is protected if Brown goes on a rampage.

P.S. --

Yankee fans, thick skin is a good thing to develop.

Oh, and planned ignoring might be your friend, as you develop your toughskin layers.

11. You never know
You guys aint invincible, and while April dont matter much on paper, it shows what could be. Our pitching has been decent as well. You seem to forget that the orioles aren't a bad team at all, they would have been a lot better last year if they had done better in divisional series against New York, this year and its not even May yet, they've won more games this year against the Yankees than they had all of last year. I never thought the Yankees would go from up 3-0 to 3-4 but it happened ya know, could a cinderella team like the O's perhaps get a wild card spot, yeah its possible.

16. that's fine
I was thinking of dinner or something like that. Nothing big. I do expect Baltimore to be better than in the past, but they won't be great. Brian Roberts is not Ted Williams.

17. Of course he's not Ted Williams
He's having a career year thus far, for him to be Ted Williams, he needs to do these kind of numbers more than once not just once. Well, no one expected much of the 89 orioles either, and they nearly won the division so you never do know.

18. the division was awful
that year. Like I said, I think Baltimore will be better. 85-88 games. I think the Yanks and Boston will be around 95 when all is said and done.

19. They still nearly went from worst-first
Edited on Sun Apr-24-05 09:57 PM by JohnKleeb
My point is that, anything can happen. I dont expect them to win 35 more games than they did last year like that team did but they are playing well right now and just cooled off a pretty good playing Toronto team.
