3. Maybe the HR king but not the best player
Willie "Say Hey Kid" Mays was the finest and would have hit 800 hr's if he played anywhere else and didn't go into the army.

5. Yep, Willie was a better overall player.
He excelled in all areas - hitting, hitting for power, base running, and fielding - like no other. The most underrated player of time though was probably Roberto Clemente. Some great players during that era.

8. I only did this because
Willie Mays and Stan Musial are forgotten.

10. In my mind there are several home run kings
Aaron, Ruth, Mays, Robinson, Killebrew -- they all share the title

11. Yeah, but if you're trolling for banned members, you gotta call
someone the TRUE King!

13. Okay. Barry Bonds is the King of Asterisks.

I consider him a feared home run hitter in the ilk of Killebrew and Ruth, but we all know his totals will forever be tainted. You guys know I don't troll. Except for Bob Costas lovers.

4. I saw him hit many of those home runs in old Fulton County Stadium.
Hank had the quickest, strongest wrists in baseball, and he wasn't bulked-up on steroids.
