Right Place, Right Time. Tom Condon is the luckiest man in the world.
Thomas Joseph Condon was named the most powerful agent in American football by Sporting News 2006. He heads the Football Division of Creative Artists Agency with fellow super-agent Ben Dogra.
Condon went to Boston College in 1974 and was inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1984. He was an offensive lineman for the Kansas City Chiefs between 1974 and 1984 and for the New England Patriots in 1985. After earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore during off-seasons and representing teammates while still playing in the NFL, he went on to become president of the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA) from 1984 to 1986. He joined IMG in 1991.
Tom Condon has a couple of clients playing in a really BIG game this weekend. He may have more than a couple, but we only care about two.
Peyton Manning is going to sign a contract extension for an unheard of 20 million dollars a year. And as if that ain't enough, his other client? Drew Brees. If he wins this game 35-31 (Madden says so) and is the MVP?
Tom Condon is going to have a better 2010 than anyone I know.
