1. I enjoyed it
I like how they got back to playing the solid run defense they played from weeks 1-6. I was afraid Peterson would break a couple of long runs but they contained him.

3. Ha! I remember that

I was mad at the Cardinals that year for the fire sale they had at the end of the 2002 season getting rid of their best players and bringing in Emmitt Smith who slowed Marcel Shipp's development but Shipp still led the team in rushing. That was also Anquan Boldin's first season, believe it or not he wasn't the first receiver the Cardinals drafted that year. It was Bryant Johnson who plays for Detroit now. The 4.7 40 yd dash Boldin scored at the combine significantly hurt his draft stock but he ended up with several rookie receiving records that year. :)

Edited to add-That game was blacked out in my area so I caught the highlights on NFL Primetime.

4. I Was At The Packer/Bronco Game, And We Went Nuts!

The players found out from the fans, and the party was just getting started. Nathan Poole came to Green Bay and got a key to the city.

5. I was strongly pulling for Denver from years 2003-2006
Edited on Mon Dec-07-09 12:21 AM by JonLP24
Big reason is because they had Jake Plummer who not only the former Cardinals quarterback but also an Arizona State QB which is my favorite school(I always pull for Sun Devils in the NFL). I remember that game because they beaten Indy the week before and clinched a wild card spot and so they rested their starters for the Green Bay game. However they got blown out by Indy 2 years in a row in the playoffs before they had that 13-3 season in 2005. Though they fell to Pittsburgh in the AFC Championship of all teams.

However I always considered Denver my favorite AFC team due to roots I have to Colorado. :)
