1. MLB playoffs have been ridiculous this year.
The combination of poor officiating and scheduling has been pretty absurd this year. Why are there days off between consecutive games in the same city? (Games 1/2 of Twins/Yanks, Games 4/5 of Angels/Yanks) Extra days off limit the importance of the 4th and 5th starters, which seems unfair for them to be so important for 6 months and then get shelved. Plus the season was going to run late anyways due to the WBC.

Bud Selig's the Michael Brown of sports.

2. FOX already annointed the Yankees the winners
They have a full schedule tomorrow even though it should be game 7.

4. Got 3 runs now though.
That last one was handed to them by the home plate umpire though. How can you call ball 4 on a pitch that's RIGHT over the plate?

7. Pitch track is bullshit.
In the grand scheme of things, it probably didn't matter, but the pitch was clearly over the plate.

9. it was inside
but I wish it was called a strike. A-Rod would have driven in at least two, instead of one.

5. My local Fox news station during the halftime break of Atl-Dal
Edited on Sun Oct-25-09 09:10 PM by JonLP24
was previewing "Sports Night" tonight and they were saying on top of the coverage of our local teams they will be asking "Can the Yankees prevent the Phillies from winning a second straight title" and even said it was a "Yankees-Phillies World Series" I said to myself, "Oh. The Yankees won.. why no mention in the Sports forum?" When I found out at the end of the Fox football postgame show they would show the Yankees-Angels game. Let's say even though I don't care about either particular team I was pissed. :grr:
