I hate refs!!!!!
Iowa vs Michigan State. Minute and a half to go. Good hit on the receiver, shoulder lowered, nothing else. Receiver goes down. Obviously, helmet to helmet contact. Penalty. Automatic 1st down.

BULLSHIT!

1. The guy was also gloating.
Helmet to helmet and the guy was standing over Colin Sandeman gloating about how he cheated. Bottom line, HAWKS WIN!

2. We must have watched a different game.
He was dancing around with his teammates, not gloating. Regardless, enjoy your victory. I'm kinda used to getting screwed out of wins. We know the truth. #6 Iowa lost to Michigan State. Believe what you want.

3. Sorry.
Sorry, not meaning to be a dick in this other thread. I just get sick of bad calls. Their were probably 1 or 2 I didn't see going the other way.

Congrats on a great game.

4. MSU scores on a gimmick play
Edited on Sat Oct-24-09 09:56 PM by Bluzmann57
The Hawks score in part because they saved a time out. Two tough defenses, two damn good teams. But Iowa still won. Yeah, I know the truth. I believe MSU wasn't able to stop Iowa when they had to.
On edit- Michigan State did not score on the gimmick play. They got a first down on a third down and 18 because of that play. Sorry for any confusion.

5. Are you serious?
I don't mind losing(too much). I do mind losing on bullshit plays/calls. Question: Was that a helmet to helmet hit? If you say yes, then fine. If no, or kinda no, your team lost. I think it was a bullshit call. That takes nothing away from Iowa. The game was so close it could have gone either way. I just hate to lose because of something like that.

6. The helmets clearly touched
Maybe just barely, but thats going to get the call anytime, especcially when you start celebrating afterwards.

7. Yes it was helmet to helmet
And it did not cost MSU the game. The Spartans could not stop the Hawks when they had tyo. Period.
