Zorn will be sticking around
The Jim Zorn unemployment watch is over. Another week of Redskins craziness ended with a message of stability yesterday: The front office said Zorn will be the coach for the rest of the season.

“We were the soap opera for the NFL the last two weeks,’’ quarterback Jason Campbell said, “so hopefully it’ll calm down a little bit.’’

The unexpectedly strong vote of confidence was delivered in the morning by executive vice president of football operations Vinny Cerrato. After letting anxiety build following last week’s loss to Kansas City, Cerrato opened his weekly radio show by saying: “Jim Zorn is the head coach of the Washington Redskins and will be for the rest of this season, and hopefully into the future.’’

The news dampens the speculation that began when Zorn was asked to give up his play-calling duties following a loss to the previously winless Chiefs.

1. We'll see. There are still ten weeks left in the season.

3. A couple more embarassing losses within the division could push
Snyder to can Zorn.

Of course, they really don't have anyone to replace Zorn. None of the assistants seem to want the job, and noone on the outside is going to want to step in.

Nice job, Danny-boy!!

4. Zorn's not really the problem
Cerrato needs to go. Zorn is having the same issues Joe Gibbs had in his last go round. No coach will succeed here with the current way Snyder runs the team.
