When does the NFL Draft coverage start?
Edited on Thu Apr-07-05 07:00 AM by theHandpuppet
Amazing that USA Today's "Sports Weekly" managed to put out a 5-buck special edition of the 2005 Draft Guide without ever mentioning somewhere in it pages when it will be and when the coverage begins on espn. Can someone here provide the info? Thanks!

4. Cool
Ima West Virginian and lifelong Bengal man myself.

Would like to see us trade a wideout to move up and get the MLB from Texas. That dude (Johnson??) is a stud, and we need defensive help.

5. I know they need help at MLB
... but there are some real prospects at DE and DT that the Bengals could really use to shore up that porous run defense. Of course, I've learned never to expect the obvious from the Bengals, so I'm prepared to be so totally wrong on draft day.

3. I've seen bizarre omissions like that before
For instance, I live in Las Vegas and there is one major preseason football annual that used to list thousands of stats from the previous year and every conceivable gambling trend, but never bothered to list the actual won-loss record. Finally I met the author when we were guests on the same radio sports talk show. He asked for my critique of the book and when I told him about the missing won-loss record he was genuinely miffed, like wondering why anyone in Las Vegas would care about basic wins and losses. But he included that trivia the following year and ever since.
