on edit/ Not that it has so much to do with Vick but with football in general. I've been watching as many preseason games as I can. What I'm trying to say if there is a football game on TV I will be watching.

Either way there will probably be some other games to catch the next 3 days. /Checking to see when the Cardinals play this weekend after this post.

Packers on Friday at 7. It looks like I'll have to miss that one in order to watch FNF.

...really ahs no bearing on the regular season...besides, I'm focused on America's Team right now!

Pre-season: I like to get an idea of what the team is going to look like this year. Any football is better than no football. Hell, I've even been watching the CFL!

6. I don't think pre-season is an accurate indicator...my long experience

has shown wins/losses mean nothing.

7. Preseason win/loss means nothing. OTOH, it gives me a chance to see

who is playing and what the team may look like this year. It's little things to look for. Sharpness, speed, hands, etc.

9. It's good to see some of the depth the team has.

Preseason is when you get to see the guys that won't play everyday, but may give you an idea what to expect should one/few of the top guys need to come out of a game. For example, I expect to see all 3 or 4 of the horrible QBs that the Bucs have play tonight.

It was a good one. Both teams played well. Jason Cambell looked pretty good. And the Golden Boy did get squished by Haynesworth. Hope his shoulder isn't serious

I won't be watching the game with Vick. I wouldn't have him in my house. And besides, he'll be on the field, so we couldn't watch it together anyhow. :-)

Not because Vick is in it but because the third pre-season game is the dress rehearsal. We're still missing a few starters though so we're really not getting a full picture.
