Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger went down with a right foot or ankle injury today in the final practice of training camp.Tackle Max Starks fell into him during a pass in team drills 20 minutes before the end of practice.
They eventually wrapped his ankle in ice and he watched the rest of practice sitting on a water cooler with a towel draped over his head.
Twenty minutes after the ice was placed on his right ankle, it was removed by trainer John Norwig. Roethlisberger pulled his right shoe back on and limped to the sideline. There, team president Art Rooney asked him how it was.
Roethlisberger replied, with a slight smile, "Oh, it just feels great. It feels like a car ran over it." A minute later, someone else asked him how he was. Roethlisberger said, "Oh, I'll be all right."
