NY Islanders have four D men posibly going to the WJC!!!!
DeHaan and Hamonic for the Canadian team.

Ness and Donovan for the American team.

That's pretty sick!!!! All four of these guys were drafted in the 08 and 09 drafts. Only one of em is a first round pick (DeHaan 12th overall 09). That alone makes it impressive given that the Isles didn't really make a commitment to rebuild this team through the draft till the 08 draft. All four of those guys make it that means the Isles have 4 of the top 14 Dmen playing out of the NHL and AHL right now.

Ness is considered the Islanders top prospect and the good news is that Hamonic is pressing for that spot. Gonna be a fun next two seasons watching this team develop.
