Angel Pagan (although not a prime contributer) saw some time as well. He was a third string player who's now taken over centerfield

THis season has been fucking crazy. I've never seen anything like this with this team and we've had some really freaky bizarre shit happen to us.

2. First off

If you knew anything about my position I always felt this team had depth problems. They have an all star CF, 3B, SS, Closer and starter. Outside of that they have an aging 1st basemen (Delgado) who's good not great and a weak bench.

But any team that loses key hitters like Reyes, Beltran and Delgado is gonna have struggles. Cap that off with the starters going down along with your set up man your in deep shit.

4. Losing half your damn team is a pretty valid excuse.

Let's see a team in ANY sport survive the kind of injury woes the Mets have had this year.

OTOH, being a Mets fan I do think they should at least be able to pull off .500 baseball. The problem is that they've complented Reyes, Wright, Beltran and Delgado with weak, average or subpar positional or bench guys.

WHILE COMPLETELY HEALTHY.

The team you trash all the time.

Not to mention your best closer has an ERA 3.4

You don't have to get injured to completely suck ass. You do fine in that department while completely healthy.
