The Rockies are playing at the lowly Padres who have lost 9 of 10.

losers of 2 straight, and 5-5 in their last 10. I realize they have a nice lead in the division but they're now in danger of losing the best record in baseball (they lead the Red Sox by 1)something they've held since seemingly the start of the year.

Thus keeping their streak alive of not losing three in a row all season, the only major league team that can say that.

*edit* to add that the Rockies failed to take advantage and lost their game in San Diego, 3-1.
