You're right. Current attendance trumps past championships. I guess best winning percentage of 5 championships in the past is a tiebreaker to that.

Or is it percentage capacity over sheer numbers? For instance if a team has a 80k stadium and only fills it with 70k people, but you have another team with a 69k stadium that fills it week in week out with 69k people....which team is better? The one that fills to capacity?

I really must know how to calculate which team is best via attendance!
