4. Maybe you're more interested in these stats:
NL WILDCARD STANDINGS

1. San Francisco Giants :bounce: ------

2. Milwaukee Brewers..... 1.0

3. Colorado Rockies..... 1 1/2

4. Chicago Cubs..... 2 1/2

4. N.Y. Mets......... 2 1/2

Would you look at that! Two of the teams are from the "shitty" NL West!

So, what you have is three teams from the NL West in the playoffs, while the Mets struggle to prepare for next year. Again.

19. Funnier that he keeps posting that the Rockies are just a flare up
Now he's including them in his argument that the NL west is a beast.

CBoy, you never disspoint with your ability to contradict yourself.

It's just June and a 162 game season. Once again, the NL west is gonna finish with records in the bottom third of the NL.

20. Well wait a minute. You're the one who's been going on and on and on and on
about how bad the NL West is.

I'm simply kicking your ass with facts showing otherwise.

21. I did
and your loading your argument with contradiction.

As usual.

One minute Colorado is a sucky team having a flare up.

Next minute they are part of this supposed tandem of strong NL West teams.

The schedule is the great equalizer in all things. The NL west is a lousy division and at the end of the season the only team in your division with a respectable record will most likely be LA. That's mainly cause that also get to beat the living snot out of Colorado, San Diego and Arizona. They probably finish about .500 against San Fran.

2. This means nothing...they need to do the average of home games for the home
teams, then compare the average when a different team comes to town...to see what the difference is.

5. Of course it's means nothing. But it's interesting, which is why I posted it.
Incidentally, it not surprising some of the "lesser" teams -- which might not necessarily have a player who's a big attraction -- draw.

I'm pretty sure most teams schedule their give-away promotions against the crappier teams to help boost attendance.

I mean, the Giants aren't going to schedule cap day against the Dodgers or the Phillies.

They're going to schedule it against an horrific team like the Pirates or the Marlins.

in your triple A Pirates and their battle for the dubious honor of worst attendance in MLB?

They've got the lead now, but remember trumad's Marlins are the 3 time defending champions.

11. If Pittsburgh wants that title
they'll have to do better than last night..

Indians/Pirates....19,109

Orioles/Marlins....10,222

I was thinking the Pirates could possibly do the double by finishing with the worst attendance the same year they break the record for consecutive losing seasons...think of the shame!!

18. Sad, just very sad, that you continue to bring that up.
Your arguments are falling on deaf ears.

Ironic how a team that you worship bailed out of a city and has NEVER won a World Series since they left that city.

the NL West has both the team with the best record in baseball and the wild card leader.
