End time fascination and the search for signs of it
Do any of you believe it has any positive effects in your daily life? Has it helped you to better understand the teachings of Christ?

1. Not at all, but it HAS helped me better understand the FOLLOWERS of christ...
And many of them are lunatics, many are hypocrites, and many are just not nice people.

3. In Christian faith, end time fascination is accompanied by the belief of everlasting life.
Each day is the actual end for some of us.

My guess is the primary positive effect is accepting our own end when it arrives.

See Falling Man, a 9/11 memento.

4. The only end times are individual.
We all face them. Those who seek them are in need of professional help, I believe.
