Focus on the Family offering on the altar of Hedonism and Zeitgeist
An additional criticism of the Focus on the Family's ad is that they are associating with, arguably, the world's most hedonistic event. Of course that is nothing new for false religion since they've always been in the war business and we have the Mardi Gras every year to remind us of the hedonism America's religions. Simply, Focus on the Family is following the long tradition of religion in being a part of the world's problems.

Additionally, the Super Bowl is by far the world's top zeitgeist event. According to Wikipedia, Zeitgeist (from German Zeit- time and Geist- spirit) is "the spirit of the times" and/or "the spirit of the age." Zeitgeist is the general cultural, intellectual, ethical, spiritual, and/or political climate within a nation or even specific groups, along with the general ambience, morals, and sociocultural direction or mood of an era (similar to the English word mainstream or trend).

This runs contrary to the actual Christian Bible:

"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world - the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life - is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever." (1 John 2:15)

1. So, you're expecting a Christian to be consistent?
Good luck with that.
