People in the US are and can be very stupid. Most of them couldn't name at least 5 countries in Europe, know how much a Euro is to the dollar, or conceive what it means to be part of the Mediterranean in looks, and ancestry.

Recently, well, within the past 10 years, probably a lot longer, though, scientists have one thing to say about a real, historical Jesus (if there was one)--he would not be a pale skinned handsome white guy who spoke English. He would likely have been

I even encountered a website in which the person categorically denies that Jesus was middle-eastern, because God is white!

How this kind of ignorance can still be part of one of the now-declining superpowers of the 20th century is beyond me. I can only hope that there is another 40/40 flood that takes all of these imbeciles away with it.
