Happy Ostara!
Let the blessings of Sacred Spring flow to you and your family.

Plant some flowers or vegetables on the patio. Put some birdseed in the feeder. Force some bulbs. Ride your bike. Take a walk. Brew some sun tea.

Get out in nature and remember the joy of being alive!

Blessed be!

5. Well in Santa Barbara we have More Mesa and a bit north we have Avila.
Lot's of folks go to them on Easter if it's warm enough.

2. Thank you!
After I left work I picked up my daughter and we walked to the park. She played on the swings, the jungle gym and the merry-go-round while I read under a tree. Tonight, after our Girl Scout meeting, we plan on attending a Good Friday service.

I hope you have a chance to enjoy this gorgeous weather today!

6. my daughter informs me ostara was yesterday (thursday)
she checks her calender to prove me wrong. (she's 19! she's always right--if you know what i mean)

at any rate--happy ostara

we're getting snow around here today...spring has been temporarily put on hold for another snowfall (anywhere between 1-12 inches....they can't decide how much we'll end up with)

think i'll put some more romaine out for the bunny who lives in the corner of my yard.

i did take a little walk today (with my dog) and the snowflakes were huge--and beautiful.

7. Right, it was
I was out of computer range, but the celebration goes on for a few days. And I understand the weather everywhere is not so beautiful to remind everyone of spring just yet.

I just harvested my winter romaine and took it down to the local chef who will be serving up wonderful food to folks who will be listening to a locally famous piano-playing musician with a big band.
