Gee, I thought his faith in God was set ... so he's fearful of who God was going to annoint as the President of the US???

Of course, since God is infallible, and the Word of God is the divine truth, then why would Robertson question it? Why would he be afraid of it?

Or does he believe that God was lying to him?

Pat Robertson has been told who would win ... so he has nothing to lose by naming the winner that God told him, right? It's inevitable ...

8. To paraphrase a poster on another thread,
Americans are not noted for their ability to recognise 'crazy'.

Particularly when it involves religion.

10. Actually....
...he doesn't want to say because he hopes he heard god wrong:

Robertson: "I’m Not Sure I Heard From The Lord,’ ‘If I Did, I Hope I Heard Wrong"

Earlier this week, Christian broadcaster Pat Robertson said God told him who will win the 2008 presidential election. “He told me some things about the election, but I’m not going to say,” he said.

Last night, Robertson appeared on Hannity and Colmes. When asked by Alan Colmes whether God had spoken to him about the election outcome, Robertson said he was “a little shaky on it” and was “not sure.” But Robertson then implied God told him a Democrat would win the White House:

COLMES: You said that you convene with God on a regular basis. You go into deep prayer and mediation, and you just recently say to you was revealed who would be the winner in November. Is that correct?

ROBERTSON: I felt so. But I’m a little shaky on it and I didn’t want to say anything about it publicly. I’m not sure I heard from the Lord. And if I did, I hope I heard wrong.

Sean Hannity then followed-up and asked who Robertson heard would be President. “I’m not saying publicly Sean,” Robertson replied. “My lips are sealed.” Watch it:

In 2004, Robertson claimed that the Lord told him it would “be like a blowout” re-election for President Bush. Bush, however, received just 51 percent of the vote that November. In 2006, he incorrectly predicted that “the outcome of the war and the success of the economy will leave the Republicans in charge.”

- As the size of his ears in the above picture shows, he certainly SHOULD have heard the message. Even if Jeebus was just whispering. So it would appear to me, that Jeebus has re-registered as a Democrat for this election cycle....

11. God mumbles a lot
Also, when he's talking to Pat he's usually trying hard to stifle a laugh. It's not good for clear communication.

Pat's got a bit of the Marshall Applewhite going in that picture.

Once again demonstrating that he gains insight that atheists will never have!

16. Oh yeh dude!

God said it's either Obama or Hillary - and both those options are bad for Robertson I'm sure! Which would he hate more? A black man or a female Clinton being in office?

I think it's hilarious because this is the dude who thinks that WHOEVER is elected, God wants them to be in office.

For some reason, Pat R. thinks the Gods give a shit about human politics... which to me is freakin' odd.

I think the Gods are more worried about people starting wars in their name, killing people due to lack of health care, letting people die in a hurricane, or other stuff the Bush regime has done in the last seven years - not Hillary or Obama getting elected.

Oh, and another thing I though of while reading this - I wonder if it bothered Pat that "God" spoke in a FEMALE voice? Imagine Pat being told by Athena or Artemis that She chose Hilary!

:silly:

17. Maybe God has a sense of humor
and loves whispering in Pat Robertson's ear. Pat may suspect that God is playing him for a fool so he doesn't want to pass on the information.

18. Perhaps it means that...
The GOP has told him that they're going to rig the 2008 election, but they didn't specify whether McCain, Romney or Huckabee would be placed in power as a result.
